Who in the "pen" were our guests?

Sally Kaye and Emma Hill and Garrett and Wyatt Hill were the girls fans today...Camden got to spend some time with us last week also! They all showed good signs of future farmers!!!

Company's a comin'!!!

Got an egg-mail today that company was a comin'! That's what the hens were spreading around the pen today....well, it happened. Like to scared us to death, but they left with a dozen eggs and lots of fun! The Mrs. grandkids came today with a friend each! We had really groomed ourselves to be the prettiest ever and was waiting with our feathers fluffed when they got here. I thought they'd never leave!!! The Mrs. and Kim caught two of our girls in the real act of laying! Girl, we aren't modest at all...! Plop, down went one egg and before Jen could get out of the nest here came Princess!!! She's a rosey-nosey! She got up in that nest and looked for that egg, but the Mrs. had gotten it already b/c somehen around here has learned to fill their craw on eggs...we've got to break that! The Mrs. and Kim let the kids hold some of the girls, namely Princess and Jen because they like that stuff! Moi, personally don't care for it. It ruffles my feathers and that isn't good! Some of the pics of us girls and our visitors are posted on facebook..if the Mrs. can figure out how to do that!!!
